To discover romance in the midst of the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea, I planned my honeymoon in the month of January from Chennai to Munnar tour package. Popularly known as God’s own country, Kerela is the most fascinating destinations of South India. Planning a road trip was quite tiring as it takes 12 hours to reach from Chennai to Munnar.

So instead, we booked a flight to Kochi which is the nearest airport to Munnar. From there, we had a pickup by car for the road distance of 4 hours from Kochi to Munnar. Our way from Kochi to Munnar was picturesque and beautiful; we clicked a couple of photographs for memory. We halted to visit the mystic Cheeyyappara waterfalls; a major tourists spot.

We finally reached Munnar in the afternoon around 4 pm and checked in at the resort. We were flabbergasted to see the city seeming naturally blessed with splendid flora, backwaters, coconut trees, and majestic hills.

We felt so special together as if we were floating on the clouds. It is a prime point to view the Kurunji flowers that blossom once in 12 years. We visited the amazing rose gardens at a distance of 4 kilometers from Munnar bus stand. It is a wonderful place having a variety of beautiful flowers and herbal plants.
• The Day 2 of Chennai to Munnar 4 days tour package ended with a visit to the splendid locations. The Day 3 started with great energy and zeal to visit the Iravikulam National Park after morning breakfast. Lush greens, dense forest, and appealing flora and fauna mesmerized us. We were quite excited for the houseboat tour from Munnar to Aplleppey to enjoy the breathtaking backwaters. The houseboat tour to Alleppey was unforgettable and unimaginable.
• Moving through the canals of Alleppey, we had a great time together in Chennai to Munnar tour package The lunch, snacks and dinner were served at the houseboat. The next morning it was time to depart. The day 4 we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast and the representative was ready to drop us at the Kochi Airport.
