Chennai To Kanchipuram Tour Package

A visit to the land of temples with a DSLR
I love travelling through the streets having historical significance. I am an avid photographer love capturing the photographs of beautiful temples and monuments of India. This time I planned a Kanchipuram tour package from Chennai. I booked a car on rent and reached Kanchipuram within 2 hours. The hotel was pre-booked hence; I had no trouble in identifying a good hotel to stay. A city of temples of Lord Shiva and Vishnu carved with great finish and perfection. Such splendid temples and beautiful carvings are unseen around the world.
I planned a Kanchipuram tour package from Chennai to capture the best temples and scenic beauty of the pilgrimage. Situated on the banks of Vegavthi River, Kanchipuram is very famous for its historical temples and Kanchipuram sarees.

At early 7 am, I visited the Chembarambakkam Lake to explore the natural beauty, lush greens, and sparkling manmade Lake of Kanchipuram. Nearby, there was a Shiva Temple, its simplicity and historical significance attracted me. My camera was constantly clicking the best pictures of all times.

In my Chennai to Kanchipuram tour package, another tourist spot nearby was the Sriperumbudur Lake, known for its brackish water. The lake is very pleasant offers an amazing panoramic scene to capture. It is a place to sit back, introspect, and relax your nerves. If you are stressed, this is the place to be enlightened with peace.

I reached the world famous Kamakshi Amman Temple built by the Pallava Kings in the 7th century. It is a temple dedicated to the Goddess Kamakshi, the Goddess of Power. She is believed to be the incarnation of Goddess Parvati. Breathtaking architecture, amazing carvings, pattern, and designs captivate you. The temple has immense spiritual significance. Majority of temples have been built by the great Pallavas and Chola dynasty. The carvings depict important incidents and stories in Hindu mythology having great religious significance.
The next destination in my Chennai to Kanchipuram one day tour package was the Ekambaranathar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Adorned with Shaivite shrines, the temple attracts thousands of devotees around the year. Irrespective of hot and humid climate, Kanchipuram is one of the most visited places in South India. The best time to visit this place is from the month of October to May. Another significant temple in Hindu mythology is Kailasanathar Temple. With 58 Shaivite shrines, you can capture perfect carvings, patterns, and designs in your camera. The natural beauty around the temple is unimaginable. Kanchipuram, a land of temples is a place to be and explore the spirituality and cultural heritage of India.
To know more about Hindu mythology and old arts, visit Kanchi Kudil. In a one day Chennai to Kanchipuram tour package, you can also visit Varadaraja Temple, Kumarakottam Temple, Perundevi Thayar Temple, Vaikunta Perumal Temple, and Devarajaswami Temple to seek blessings of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Every temple is unique in its own defined architecture and spiritual significance. My Chennai to Kanchipuram one day tour package was unforgettable as I explored the unseen natural beauty of Kanchipuram, the beautiful temples, their architecture, patterns, carvings, and spirituality.
